(1) No person shall write or cause to be written with his name a degree, diploma, certificate, license or title related to modern medicine that he has not obtained for the purpose of practicing medicine related to modern medicine.

(2) If a person is found guilty of contravening sub-section (1), he shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three years or with a fine which may extend to three thousand rupees or with both.
